Taking pictures can be real fun. However, there are those moments when our hands shake the moment we click that button and the picture turns out to be blurry. This usually happens when the camera was not held still enough while the shutter was depressed. If you are still starting the hobby of photography, then you can expect that the only real way to eliminate the shaking is by using a tripod. But that should not be the case.
First we all know that if we hold the camera with one hand, the blur effect will show up on the picture. The best way to stop the camera shake is to hold the camera with two hands. It is sometimes tempting to shoot one handed but two hands will increase your stillness just like three legs on a tripod are better than one.
Depending on what type of digital camera you are using there are different ways on how you should grip your camera. There is no right or wrong here, but there are general techniques that might be able to help those who are still starting with photography.
Using the right hand to grip the right hand end of the camera, but make sure you don’t grip to hard because this will still shake the camera. Your left hand should support the weight of your camera. This depends on what camera you use, but it is a general rule to avoid any shaking. You can keep your balance and add extra stability by leaning against a solid object like a wall or a tree. You can even sit or kneel down. Most photographers buy Canon Power Shot SX20 IS. Have the camera near your body if you are shooting using the view finder, however if you’re using the LCD then don’t hold your camera too far away. The technique here is to tuck your elbows into your sides and lean the camera about 30cm from your face. Whatever camera you have, it is always good to know these techniques to bring out great pictures of you and your loved ones. Canon is usually the brand that most photographers go for. You can buy a canon powershot sx20 for example and you will have pictures that will awe your friends.
